Our Coaches

Angela Rasmussen

Angela is the co-founder and co-director of Champion Cheer Athletics as well as a team coach. She is USASF certified in stunts and tumbling through Level 6 and is First Aid & CPR certified. She lives in Keizer and is busy wife and mother of three young and active girls.

Zoya Howe

Zoya has been a part of Champion since its beginnings in 2004. She has been a coach at Champion since she was 16 and could serve as a junior coach and has since moved on to head coaching many teams. She has attended the Cheerleading Worlds twice as an athlete and is USASF certified to coach through level 4, and is also First Aid & CPR certified.

Sara Cavaletto

Sara has coached at Champion since the beginning. She has two children, a son and daughter, who also enjoy cheer. Sara coaches our Premier teams and tumbling classes and also does choreography. Sara is a sign language interpreter for the Salem-Keizer School District. In her spare time she enjoys crafting and playing board games.

Aaron Brownlee

Aaron has coached at many gyms across the country and we are so blessed he now calls Oregon home. A former NCA instructor and competitor himself, Aaron is coaching tumbling classes and is the director of our TOPS program.

Brooke Beitel

Brooke grew up as a competitive athlete at Champion. She brings her passion of cheerleading and working with youth to our program as a Premier team coach. She has attended The Summit in Orlando several times and is a Cheersport National Champion.

Spencer Hayes

Spencer was an all star cheerleader for ten years as well as a high school cheerleader for three years. As an all star cheerleader, she competed at the Cheerleading Worlds three times. We are so happy to have Spencer back at CCA. She is CPR & First Aid Certified.
